Roman 8:19.

‘For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.’

The world is always waiting for more manifestation of the sons of God, that is, the people who through the understanding of their divine nature will operate like Jesus on earth. The question is: how did Jesus operate while on earth?

During His earthly ministry, at a time when there was no boat to cross to the other side, He just stepped on the sea and off He went. At another time He was in the boat, the storm was raging, He stood up and spoke to the wind: ‘Peace be still’ and there was a great calm. He would say to a blind man: ‘Eyes be opened’ and the eyes would open. The Jews marveled at His wisdom, they remarked: ‘What wisdom is this’. These are few examples of how Jesus operated on earth. The world is waiting for more men and women, boys and girls that will operate like Jesus spiritually, every wise, in every field of endeavour in life. The world is waiting for your manifestation!

Everyone is born a child. This is true both naturally and spiritually. Every child has the potential of becoming a son [a man]. There is a seed of son-ship implanted in everyone at birth which will have to undergo the normal processes of growth to mature into a son. The difference between a child and a son is maturity. Some adults still live like a child. They behave like a child, they cannot take decisions by themselves, others must take decisions for them. The news is that until you become a son, you will not be allowed to handle some responsibilities.

Galatians 4:1-2.

‘Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.’

An heir that is not yet matured for his throne will be kept under tutors or under a regency who will be dictating to him and directing him what to do. He will decide and execute decisions for him. Whatever the regency decides is what will be done. Until the heir matures, his authority is under ‘bondage’ as it were.

Just like in the natural, there are many in the Kingdom who are being cheated and robbed by the devil, not because the devil has the right to do so but simply because they refused to grow up in Christ, they refused to grow up into a son. They choose to remain babes in the Lord.

Hebrews 5:12-14.

‘For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.’

For the adult, milk is no longer an essential for growth. What the adult needs is solid food for strength. The fact that one is born again does not necessarily give the person an automatic access into kingdom inheritance. That you are born again does not give you that access, you have to grow into it through knowledge and spiritual exercises. When a person refuses to grow in Christ, that person will live like a servant, not enjoying his or her full inheritance in Christ. The heir as long as he is a child is not different from a servant even though he is the lord of all.

The Mark of Son-ship

Your son-ship gives you access to walk in the realm of the supernatural.

John 1:12.

‘But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:’

Your mark of son-ship is power. As many as have received Jesus to them God has given the power to become a son, to reign, exercise authority and have the dominion. Potentially, every born again child of God has this power but for actual manifestation you must grow. The more you grow in the Lord, the more you manifest this power. Understanding your son-ship power, rights and priviledges is the master key to freedom, liberty and a life of fulfilment.

Just like any of us, Jesus was born a child but grew into a Son.

Isaiah 9:6.

‘For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.’

Luke 2:40.

‘And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.’

As you grow in the Lord, the grace of God upon you also grows.

Luke 2:52. Luke 2:52.

‘And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.’

Jesus increased in wisdom. Jesus was born a child like any other child. He was born hundred per cent man and hundred percent God. Jesus was not created like Adam, He was born flesh and blood like you and I. He didn’t descend from the blues to appear on the scene, He was born. He cried like a child. He reasoned like a child. He behaved like a child. He went through the different stages of development. He grew into a Son. He increased in wisdom, stature and in favour with God and man. Jesus is our perfect example, our patterned Son and everything He manifested, we ought to manifest.

Treasure in Earthen Vessels

Christianity is not just a religion; it is much more than a religion. It is not a philosophy nor is it an organization. Christianity is the release of the life of God into human vessels. It is drawing virtue from the life of God. The life of God in the believer is the treasure in him. ‘But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God…’ God is committed to bringing you out of childhood into a son and the good news is that the whole world is waiting for your manifestation. You shall manifest in Jesus name. Amen.

Galatians 4:4-7.

‘But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.’

When you are born again, you receive adoption into son-ship. As many as are born again are the adopted children of God. We are all sons and daughters of the Highest and we have the rights and priviledges that Jesus has. Adoption places you into the life-class of God. We have in us eternal life force. Eternal life is what made God, God and we have this life force in us. Adam had it but lost it and Jesus came to restore this very life back to us. Eternal life is the life released into us at salvation but then we need to stir up this life from time to time to enjoy the full benefits.

2 Timothy 1:6.

‘Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.’

Paul challenged Timothy to stir up the gift of God in him. Paul was worried about Timothy; he was concerned that the gift in him would not remain dormant so he challenged him to stir it up. Stir it up! The gift will not produce without the practical involvement of the receiver. The gift will only produce when it is stirred up. Believers who are manifesting their son-ship are the ones that have taken steps to stir up the eternal life that is in them, that is the gifts of God in them. You have the responsibility to stir up the gifts that are in you if you want to produce.

 

 

 

How to stir up the gifts:

Knowledge

One of the major ways to stir up every deposit of God inside of you is through knowledge.

2 Peter 1:3-4.

‘According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust’.

You must have knowledge, you must know. All the great and precious promises of God are gift packages to the believer so as to be a partaker of the divine nature. These promises have been given so that you can operate and partake in your divine nature and you need knowledge to operate them and partake in them. What you don’t know, you can’t operate and what you can’t operate, you cannot partake in it. Until you know it! When you know it then you can operate it.

If you are not conscious that the Lord shall supply your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, how do you operate it and partake in it?

A sister shared with me that before she started to have knowledge in the area of divine supply, that by the time she is left with fifty naira in her purse, she becomes jittery: ‘How will I survive, how will I get to town.’ Even to drop an offering from the money becomes a struggle. When she came to have an understanding, even when she doesn’t have a kobo in her purse, she is settled. Many times, she would leave home without a kobo and she would come back home with good money, God would just see her through receiving favours. She didn’t go begging but favour here and there.

When the truth of God’s word penetrates your inside in any area of life, you gain control and authority in that area. ‘The entrance of His Word gives light, it gives understanding to the simple.’ When the Word of God in the area of divine health enters you, you are settled concerning your health irrespective of what you are feeling in your body. Through the knowledge of His great and exceeding precious promises we manifest the divine nature in us causing us to escape the corruption that is in the world.

Faith

You need knowledge to gain mastery of your divine nature and secondly you need faith as well. Faith is belief in action. When you have knowledge and you belief then your faith goes into action. For example, if you belief you have healing gifts, then you go into action by praying for people to be healed. It is then that there will be manifestation. Until you go into action, everything you believe remains dormant. You cannot see result until you go into action.

Speak

You need knowledge, your faith must translate into action and you must speak as well to manifest your divine nature. Faith speaks what he or she believes. Whatever you speak, that is your belief and that is what is in you.

2Corinthians 4:13.

‘We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;’

To manifest your divine nature, your mouth is a weapon and an instrument. Your mouth is a weapon of authority ordained by God to keep you in perfect dominion. You must employ your mouth, speak your belief, speak the promises of God, affirm them, speak to your situations and circumstances. As you employ your mouth, you shall manifest in Jesus name.
